Born in Namibia, I grew up
as part of a large extended family a world away from the vineyards and industry
of wine. It was not until the mid-90’s, while in New Zealand, that I
acquired a taste for the sumptuous Sauvignon Blanc and crisp chardonnay of the
North Island. This unquenchable thirst for knowledge has accompanied my
